Jessica Despres is from Connecticut and graduated from the University of New Haven in 2021 with a double B.A. in Music and Sound Recording and General Music. She started to expand her audio background from the time she spent interning and taking classes at the legendary Blackbird studio in Nashville, TN. After her time there in 2021-2022 she was offered a position as an Audio Operator at ESPN where she has spent the past few years clearing positions such as Comms Support C2, A2 and A1. In these roles she assists ESPN live shows by setting up and troubleshooting communications panels, assisting talent with their audio gear and live audio mixing shows such as First Take and NFL Live.

Outside of ESPN she has been focusing her time on hiking, remodeling/rebuilding her house, and working on her small business. Jess’ small business is called hookedbyjes and is a crochet business where she makes toys, bag, hats, accessories, and tufts rugs. She spends her time prepping toys and such for vendor markets that she does throughout the year.
