Kristen L. Roberts is the Vice President of Public Relations at Comcast for the New England Region
About
Kristen Roberts serves as Vice President of Public Relations for Comcast’s New England Region, which serves customers across Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, and Vermont. In this role, she oversees media relations and strategic communications and is a member of the region’s senior leadership team. She also serves as a company spokesperson.
Roberts joined Comcast in 2002 as Manager of Public Affairs for Connecticut and has held several progressive leadership roles before assuming her current position in 2024.
Her commitment extends beyond the workplace into the community. She has held leadership positions in professional and civic organizations, including two terms as President of the New England Chapter of Women in Cable and Telecommunications (WICT). Roberts serves on several boards, including the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce – where she was Chairwoman in 2022 – the Middlesex United Way, where she chaired the 2016 campaign, and as Trustee of Goodspeed Musicals and Corporator of Middlesex Hospital.
Roberts has earned numerous accolades, including the Middlesex United Way Community Service Award in 2019, the Leadership Award from the New Haven Boys and Girls Club in 2016, and recognition as a “Women in Business” honoree by the Hartford Business Journal in 2015. She was also honored at the Urban League of Southern Connecticut’s Women’s Empowerment Summit in 2014.
She holds a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Hartford and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Central Connecticut State University. Roberts is a graduate of WICT’s Betsy Magness Leadership Institute and Wharton’s Women’s Executive Leadership Program.
Roberts resides in Old Saybrook, Connecticut.
