About

Christina (Chris) Draper DeLaat serves as a Transmission Supervisor within Content Platforms and Operations for Disney Entertainment and Technology at ESPN. Recently promoted to this role, Chris brings over 25 years of experience from the Network Operations Group at Disney Entertainment and Technology. In her current position, she oversees the management of thousands of incoming feeds to Bristol, ensuring seamless transmission across ESPN’s multiple platforms and Disney Streaming Services.

Before rejoining the WICT Board as a Program Director, Chris was deeply involved in leadership and mentoring initiatives at ESPN and previously served as Program Chair for WICT New England. She is passionate about empowering others to reach their full potential and values being part of a team dedicated to advancing the success of women in the industry. Her strong project planning expertise has driven numerous professional and personal initiatives, culminating in her earning a Project Management certification.

Originally from upstate New York, Chris is an avid supporter of most New York sports teams—excluding those based in Queens or Long Island. She currently resides in Bristol, CT, with her husband and son. Outside of work, Chris enjoys attending her son’s sporting events, reading, and traveling to Disney destinations.

Chris is a proud graduate of Mansfield University in Mansfield, PA.
