On Thursday, June 5 the WICT New England Chapter held its annual Speed Mentoring event at The Barn at Wight Farm in Sturbridge, MA. The event hosted a cocktail hour prior to the event starting at 6:00. The chapter presented 10 mentors that were eager to sit with the 53 attendees.

The mentors offered words of wisdom on a multitude of topics that included career paths, work/life balance and dealing with tough situations. While they each had a different path, they gave consistent advice on how persistence eventually lead to their success. While members learned valuable insight from the mentors, they also were able to network and learn from the other members at their tables, as they were calculatedly seated with members from different areas of the industry.
After our president, Donna Capone, wrapped up the table mentoring, members had some time left to network one on with the mentors and other members before closing out for the evening.
