Stephanie Holmes works in the Programming Department, serving as Director of On-Air Management, ESPN on ABC and Formatting. In her role as Director of On-Air Management, she is responsible for the on-air programming, editorial, sales and promotional issues and decisions as defined by domestic programming’s contractual obligations. She works closely with studio and remote production, sales & marketing and promotions as conditions within a live television environment dictate. Stephanie also manages ESPN’s daily relationship with ABC and as Director of Formatting, she oversees a team that is responsible the generation of the commercial formats for 17 domestic and international networks.
Prior to ESPN, Stephanie worked in Columbus, Ohio as the Senior Sports Producer at WSYX/WTTE, the local ABC/FOX affiliate.
Stephanie has been at ESPN for 14 years and participated in the ESPN Mentor/Mentee program for 3 years. She was a member of WICT in 2007 before rejoining as a board member in 2013. Stephanie was awarded the Extra Mile Award at the 2014 Evening of Excellence for her leadership and development of other women leaders.
Stephanie has a degree in Communications from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
She and her husband Chris reside in Avon, Connecticut with their three children; Sean, Anna and Ryan.
